Our new friends at Musings of A crazy Cat lady have made our day by thinking of us and giving us this Super Sweet blog award! Thank you so much for making our day and putting a smile on our kitty faces! 

Next off are some super  sweet questions we would like to answer:

Cookies or Cake?

We'd pick cake in a heartbeat (especially since mom just had her Birthday last week) but since we're felines she won't let us have even one bite (how unfair!). However, if you ever have cat treats in the way of Temptaions, we'd be more than happy to chew on some of those yummy treats!

Choclate or Vanilla?

We can't have choclate since it's not good for us kitties, but you know if we could, we sure would!

What is your favourite sweet treat?

We would have to say catnip, of course!

When do you crave sweet things the most?

We're cats so we ourselves are sweet.. but we crave sweet things all the time, especially when we're meowing out to our blogging friends or getting a belly rub (our favourite!)

If you had a sweet nickname what would it be?

Sherlock's sweet nickname is 'Mommy's marshmellow' and Ash's is "Kitty Cuddily Muffin'. Traveler's is "Sweet Treat heart" (because he loves his treaties so much!)

It's bad enough having the Secretary (the human) take a 'day off' of her job as blogging for us. Now she has the nerve to allow this d-o-g onto our blog? That's it, she's fired for sure.




Sherlock's mad kitty look

 Hello friends, the human here. I decided to do a post on our family dog,Moose, who we love very much. The kitties may not be the friendliest with him, but deep inside they love him.
Moose is a two year old Lab and Mastiff mix that was adopted by us last year around August or September. His owners could not keep him and he almost faced the tragedy of being put in the shelters. We are so thankful we rescued him and he is part of our family.

Okay I lost my temper there a bit. Stay calm, stay calm.. the
flashy box can sense fear...

As for me, Sherlock, I am shunning the flashybox.
Humph! This is the 'back of shame'.

URGENT! DOES ANYONE SEE ANYTHING WEIRD ON OUR HEARDER? IT SHOWS TWO PICS OF TRAVELER THAT WAS NOT HERE BEFORE. WE HOPSE WE ARE NOT BEING HACKED!! HELP!  I UPLOADED A NEW HEADER BUT THE PIC IS STILL IN THE WAY EVEN WHEN I REMOVED THE HEADER COMPLETLY AND TRYED UPLOADING IT AGAIN. THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH FOR YOUR HELP. WE THINK WE GOT THE PROBLEM FIXED NOW.

Rainbow Bridge

Upcoming Events

Kitties--the Tabby Cat Club is having open house the 15th for our one year anniversary. All is invited and welcomed! We hope to see you there.

Also, a fantastic fundraiser is going on to help animals who went through Hurricane Sandy. Mom is trying her best to get every last dollar together to donate and remember that every penny counts. Please support this wonderful fundraiser!

Veteran's Day

Kitties- we know this post is so very late and forgive us. However, we still want to do a post on Veteran's day so here goes.

Veteran's Day is a time for us to honor those who risked their lives fighting for us and our country. It is with great admiration that we thank all our Veteran's for all they have done for us. I want to take a special time to honor my dad, David, who was in the US Navy in 1969. He did his part in helping our country and I honor him for all he did while in the Navy. Although is jobs may sound small, like cleaning the ship or helping to watch out for enemy ships, we know they meant a lot to us and our country and we thank him for that.

Thankful Thursday

Autumn is mom's favourite time of year, mostly because the weather  is nice and the leaves look so gorgeous! She was able to take a few pictures of a tree outside in our neighbourhood...

Fly Free, Squashies

Our friend Squashies became an angel today. Our hearts are hurting and our eyes are leaking at this sad news. She fought bravely and is missed so much. She lives on in our hearts and is loved more than words can express. We are so sad.Please leave words of love and comfort to her family.

Election Day 2012

Kitties! Today is the day! We are off to great places, off and away! Let's make our meow heard and  be a light to all, vote for who we believe in, big or small.

An Award

Thank you,  thank you thank YOU, Callie for giving us this award! How happy we are to have received it.

 Here are 7 things about us you know you want to know about us.

1: Sherlock: LOVES toilet paper rolls and will go crazy over them (even more than he will on cat nip).

2: Ash: When we adopted her, her real name was Ashley but now she'll only go by Ash or pretend to ignore you.

3: Traveler is obsessive of stinky shoes and will chew on them, hide in them, and even take the strings out to play with them. We all think he's a little crazy.

4: Sherlock's all time favourite spot is the cat bed. It's funny because most cats don't usually sleep in them, but he will. He loves it.

 

  5 Ash: has a habit of claiming mom's stuff. Especially floral print purses. The boys think it's odd.

6 but Traveler: secretly likes it too. And will use his claws to guard it at all times.

 

7: Ash will now only eat Friskies or Temptation's. She is so picky!

Now for the hardest part, choosing who to give this to. Kitties, this is a tough one because we love you all but since we can only pick 7..
